Six ingredients and a little cash is all you need for this Broccoli and cauliflower pasta bake.
Ingredients (serves 4):
- 300g dried penne pasta
- 250g broccoli, cut into small florets
- 250g cauliflower, cut into small florets
- 100g shaved ham, roughly chopped
- 575g jar four-cheese pasta bake sauce
- 1 cup grated tasty cheese
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Lightly grease an 8 cup-capacity oven-proof dish.
- Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water, following packet directions, until tender. Drain.
- Meanwhile place broccoli and cauliflower in a microwave-safe bowl. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons cold water. Cover. Microwave on high (100%) for 3 minutes or until broccoli is bright green and just tender. Drain. Refresh under cold water.
- Combine pasta, broccoli, cauliflower and ham in a bowl. Add pasta sauce. Stir to combine. Spoon mixture into prepared dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden.
